The Dueling Poet's 2010 Series

Year 2009 I thought would be mine
But the Mouth, she beat me down in no time
I the Great Buzzard, did take some time to mend
Now it's 2010 and we shall start this duel all over again

Under construction I sure have been
I will be back, stronger than you have ever seen
The Great Canadian Buzzard, yes shall fly once more
Look way up ladies and watch this big bird soar

There might be a little dust, on this old birds bottom
Not to worry it will blow off, as I hit these skies
All that talk, that the buzzard was finished
You will see, is nothing but lies

That Mouth she has recruited a deputy dame
Reno Angel or Fallen Angel, she may be one and the same
Only time will tell, if these ladies are friend or foe
As you know from the past, one never knows

Looks quiet down there, as I do my first flyby
Should this old Buzzard land and give it a try
I guess I'll just give a wave, as I slowly pass
Not even dropping any land mines,
on their southern grass
