My Father

Thank God for good friends

My father always told me,
if you do good things for others,
good things will be done for you.
If you do bad things, eventually you will pay for it.
As time goes by, the favors you have done get paid back.
Well I guess he was right.

All good things come to those who wait.

Last week, one of my friends fathers,
sent some oak posts and railing to me, that he had left over.

Having nothing to do new years day,
I put up the railing, missing at the bottom of the stairway.
This railing, just made the entire living room,
it is just gorgeous.
Clear finished oak, matched the rest of the room.
It's surprising, how much better a job one can do,
when one has time on there hands.

I have no camera at this time,
to put a picture here sorry.

I have been told next week,
they are sending some new 4 foot heaters he had left over.
I will put those in the bedroom I am using,
it will help.

Trying to keep the oil truck away as much as possible,
I keep the wood fire place burning when I can.
Although it keeps the oil furnace off.
That bedroom gets no heat when the oil is off,
the electric baseboard heaters will solve that.
