Condolences for Ray's death
There it was, the death notice in the post office.
The obituary in the paper read,
long time resident of Morrisburg.
Ray was a well liked man,
who could often be found helping others.
Ray was often seen, cutting fire wood.
I could go on, but let me explain.
In the small town of Morrisburg and surrounding area
there are, or should I say, were four Raymond Hamilton's
For me over the years, it was easy to tell.
I got their bills!
There drivers licence, and many other things.
That's why I go as Ray.
As luck would have it,
one had there birthday in the same mouth.
Different day, but the same mouth.
Like me, one has no middle initial.
Things sure got confusing.
Going to the collection agency at first got trying,
but over the years, I could get it straitened out over the phone.
Even getting a bank loan things showed up,
although frustrating it only takes a few minutes,
to get it straitened out.
As many times as I have been in the
bank the past three years, now they just ignore it.
They know who I am.
Getting a phone call,
from one of my friends the other day,
telling me he was sorry to hear I was dead,
certainly was surprising.
Before she started getting the calls.
I thought I should call my sister to let her know,
I wasn't a corpse.

Well,
not yet,
I am still breathing.
Apparently I still have a purpose on this earth, or I would not be here.
