{ Not a Poet and I know It }

Since You've Gone Midi

Deceitful Lies / Harsh Goodbyes

You told me ~ I was your love
Sent to you from the great man above
Your Knight in shining armor

You were quite the charmer

You had dreams of me all of your life
I would come to you and make you my wife

We got married the very next year
I was thrilled that in my life ~ you were here

You were told right from the very start
That if we should somehow ever part
A burden to you I would never be
Me again you would never see

Respectfully I have kept my word
From me you have never heard
On the web sites that you call home
You will never see me roam
But why do you follow me to mine
I move on ~ time after time

From life's problems I have never run away
Stood my ground and faced them each and every day
Slowly I clime up that ladder of life
Slippery at times / a broken rung / a lost wife

WritersCafe here I have made my home
Of you I try not to moan and grown
Can you just not stay away
You follow me from site to site
I suppose you have the right
These games you know I do not play
So here on WriterCafe I think I will stay
Respectfully Your X
Ray
