A Quiet And Simple Life

For this man to be happy, is very simple you see
I need someone I can trust, to fall in love with me

Very happy and content, I would be
With a lovely lady standing by my side,
who is truly in love with me

If God would be so kind, and grant me this one wish
We would be happy, just sitting by the water side, while we fish

Good things have happen to me in my life
I wish to relax again, and sleep all through the night

To have someone to love, would be more precious than gold
Happy with the simple life, just having each other hold

Worked hard all my life, and handled all problems in stride
To have a woman that truly loves me,
would sure make this man,
again feel alive
