Ray's Wild Wood Flower

She is waiting for me in her old country gown
She's the prettiest wild flower, for miles around
I will stand by her, yes until the end of time
She's my pretty wild wood flower and yes she's all mine

Her sweet toothless smile, is known in this old town
She's so skinny she barely, fills out that old gown
The way she plays that banjo, really grabs my heart
She's a pretty wild wood flower and we shall never part

In the mountains she lives, in an old country town
Each day I can't wait, for the sun to go down
She will play the old banjo, yes till the break of day
She's my pretty wild wood flower, together we will stay
She's my pretty wild wood flower, that banjo she can play
