Just some random thoughts on love long gone

Some Say Love
Will Only Break Your Heart

Some say love, is not worth the chance
But how do you know, if you refuse to dance
Some say love will liquidate your assets
with your love they will soon depart
But what are material possessions
without true love in your heart

In others I will always show my trust
Until my body turns to nothing but dust
I say love, ~ yes and take that chance
For you will never find true love
if you always miss the dance

Once your heart has tasted true love
nothing else will ever be enough
If you give true love your heart and your all
You will hit hard when and if you ever fall
No one can hurt you, like your true love
life can be so hurtful and so rough

One who can lie as they look you in the eye
Will soon be gone, without even a goodbye
Life will go on even with the sorrow
The sun will rise again tomorrow
The heart will take some time to mend
This is when you find your true friends

I say love is worth all you have on this earth
For without love there is nothing of any worth
We are all made of flesh and bone
Unfortunately some have a heart of stone
But love will always win in the end
True love from another
will always help the heart to mend

Some say true love is just a myth
I say true love is a precious gift
So don't give up on true romance
And don't ever miss the dance
